It is starting to sink in that term has really started. We have our first quiz and I think I did well. It was not too bad and I really want to do well on my first assignment. Makes a good impression with the professors.

I love to knit sweaters but I am on a huge sock kick right now--love those too. Love color, stripes and have a few colorwork projects going right now too. I have a few scarf projects that won't end... no more scarves for a while. I don't crochet but am finding I should learn a bit more crochet skills for my knitting.
7. What is Professor Minerva McGonagall's animagus?
It is a tabby cat that has markings like square glasses.
8. What size needles (DPNs, circular or loop) do you prefer for knitting socks?
I use magic loop (40" circular) for most of my sock knitting now. It is easy and very liberating though I do use double points now and again. I tend toward Size two as I am a fairly tight knitter.

Sirius Black's family home located at Number 12 Grimmauld Place in London.
10. What is your favorite pastime when not studying at Hogwarts?
Well, knitting obviously but also running, reading, playing sports with the kids, watching movies, gardening

I am reading the Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff currently and recently finished Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. I am a book junkie.
12. Which Gryffindor used to play "Charlie's Angels" and always was Bosley?
That lovely Gryffindor mate would be Lizzie Wychwood.
My finger is better, just a bit numb, but nothing to stop me practicing with my Wand, riding my Broomstick or knitting.
