Hi all. I am settling in quite nicely and cannot wait for the action to begin here at Hogwarts. I love being in Gryffindor. The others in our house all seem to be here for a good reason--we have lots in common and there seem to be many who knit. I have very little things in Gryffindor colors so I may have to get busy on something while I wait for other ideas. Until then, go Gryffindor.

Some of the first years are having difficulty settling in. Some who are less familiar with the wizarding world find things here a bit odd. Others are a bit homesick. Some have never been away from home and are taking good advantage of that despite prefect monitoring. I am from a medieval town so seeing this site of the windows of the Great Hall, makes me feel right at home.

It may be dank and dreary to some but it is cozy to me--just like home.

Since there are so many knitters here, I decided to add a link to my muggle blog. Skein Brain Knits I am new to blogging and really struggle with the picture and link thing but I will keep practicing like I am with my wand. I did add my advertisement and link to the muggle blog for Hogwarts membership recruitment. I seared my toes the other day with an errant charm. Yikes!
