I received my owl post about my swap. I am being spoiled by Slytherin Ceciley Fortesque and I am spoiling Hufflepuff, The Enchanting Electra . I think everyone is so nice. I have met great people in all the houses but second years tell me there can be much rivalry and shenanigans amongst the houses. Brace yourself.

I will enjoy getting to know them and maybe some more house members of Slytherin and Hufflepuff. I went to my first day of classes. I liked Charms best so far and the new Defense Against the Dark Arts figure while handsome seems a little dark and kept referring to those who met a bloody demise in facing the Dark Arts. Kind of weird. He offered to give a Ravenclaw a haircut but the guy seemed pretty clever and said thanks but he has his own barber. Weird, huh!

We have our first common room meeting in Gryffindor on Wednesday night. Should be good to chat together with our prefect.
